The margins for errors are there, but they aren't huge, and when summer storms happen almost daily, why would one think that throwing another bad variable into the equation isn't going to have negative consequences?
Then maybe the margins for error should be increased. We keep hearing about how airlines have cut back 20% of capacity or whatever it is, so why not build in more schedule padding?
