For the record, I was on the FA's side in this up to the point where he decided to get on the PA and swear at everyone. Personally, I hope the guy winds up with some stiff fines and standing in the unemployment line.

As for the passenger... well, I think that JetBlue owes him and everyone else on the plane a big apology-- along with some form of compensation for the trouble.

Are you serious? Sarcasm is a little hard to detect.

Why does the passenger deserve an apology? She disobeyed federal law, the FA for telling her, and then whacked him on the head with either her luggage or the compartment door. Then cussed him out.

I'm not saying she should be taken out back and shot, but I wouldn't be opposed to something just short of that. Certainly not be given an apology or any compensation whatsoever. Shoot, she oughta be banned for life.

The other passengers should get an apology, but not the one involved in the incident.
