Flying from DFW-DCA after Christmas, our cruising altitued was
19,000 ft.
I don't know if this is relevant but whenever I fly in MS flight simulator with "real world weather download" and there are strong prevailing winds (esp over california) it helps to fly at lower altitudes.
Does anyone know where we can get maps with windspeeds or if there is a free website with flight planning tools that take into account windspeed?
