Although I do sometimes book away from Colgan I do not book away from the Q400. Those are two separate issues. Colgan is a poorly run airline, but I have no problem flying Horizon or Porter Q400's. I actually prefer them to the smaller crj's. The problems with Colgan may be statistically insignificant but they are amplified in passengers minds by the crash and ensuing media coverage.
