x2 or 3/week at least when I was using it regularly, this was in the days before NZ starting initially serving LGW.

The BA service changed when the 747-400 arrived, it ended up LHR-SIN-MEL-AKL, before it sadly got the chop.

There was a quirky time when BA was waiting for the 747-400s to be delivered, they were slow off the blocks and a lot of carriers had them delivered before BA. They were feeling the pinch with carriers shortening the kangaroo route to one stop in Asia instead of the usual Asia + Mid East stops, so they had some more efficient engines hung onto the old 747-200s, so the service was LHR-BOM-SYD.
