-I did in-fact use that link to extract drive times of 1-4hrs. Are you saying the estimates on that site are unrealistic?

-I'm stopping at Wanaka first to save the extra 1hr drive on Day 3. Then moving to Queenstown to save the extra 1hr to Te Anau.

-Your opinion on skipping Stewart Is. is the kind I want to hear more of. Implicit in my questions (a) and (c) is the hope that knowledgeable folk can help me decide what to skip.
