As people have posted above, removing visas is only asking for trouble, even if you are not planning going back to that country, another country may decide that since your passport has been tampered with they will refuse you entry to their country.
And it's not just a matter of being a stickler about a "tampered" passport. If there is evidence that something has been removed from a passport, the person noticing this has no way of knowing exactly what was removed, why it was removed, or even what country the removed item was issued by. There could be all kinds of things on there that an Immigration inspector might want to know about, such as evidence of other recent travel.
