That's not a Boeing-made modern plane. It is a McDonnell Douglas plane. Boeing bought McD-Douglas. They acquired the company; they did not make that plane. I would never fly in an MD-plane. The MD-11 is not a Boeing plane. It's only under Boeing's auspices because of corporate merger.
