I think VickiSoCal was referring to the chain hotels, not the George V in Paris or the Ritz Carlton in Chicago.

All chain hotels, whether full-service or the less expensive brands within the chain's family, see a large increase of families & children during the summer vacation/holiday months. Doesn't matter if it's Marriott, Hyatt, Sheraton, Hilton.

To the OP, no Marriott is not forgetting businessmen/women. It's just called summer season.

And I agree that having just biz folk in lounge doesn't mean it's quiet - aka, the demos or conference calls on speakers as mentioned. Or one who hogged the computer & printer - to print out his 50 page proposal (and then left part of it behind - hello, biz center available - duh).
