Thank you FATflyer. We are going to Sequoia NP and then Kings Canyon, on the way to Fresno from our overnight in Visalia (the long way..he, he). It will be past Oct 2.
Great website. Tours available all year long. More limited after Oct 1, closed Tue-Wed, Last tour 3pm (1 hr before close). Cost for seniors is only $7.50. Not a rescue facility, but a education/ambassador site on behalf of wild cats in nature. Expanded days and hours in the Summer. Directions provided.
We will seek to add this in to our return from Kings Canyon to Fresno. We are staying over one night at the NP, so not sure if we will have enough time.
Some might wonder what happened to the zoo/aquarium trip. It has been expanded to add several NP, NM, historic sites, some wine stops, too. We canned the month of Sept and are beginning in Oct. We also chopped off SFO.
