Normal specifications for a passenger 747 require a 10,000 foot runway. I believe down in St. Maartan they have to power up the engines with brakes on before they start rolling in order to take off without going into the grass (at the end of the runway) Since it is a good amount less than 10,000 feet. So yes, DFW would have no problem.
