They said the price is the same, and there are actually many seats available that are full rows of 4 still available.

they said that if they are to assign two seats to a person (buying an extra for a big person or something like this) that has to be done on date of purchase

my option is to cancel, pay the cancel fee, then rebook and buy two tickets at once

I cancelled the whole flight, this seemed unreasonable--yes, we paid a cancellation fee but it is ok.......

let this just be good info for anyone in the future I guess?

Also, keep in mind, if you DO book say 3 seats for 2 pax, you do not pay taxes etc on the 3rd ticket....so for those of you who are taller or want to just have some wiggle room, it is worth it and MUCH less than Business Class

we had done this before and were able to buy the ticket at a different time.......later than it was originally booked
