Typical outrageous BA refund behaviour which other businesses (e.g. restaurants) would never get away with: you pay for one product which you want and instead they give you a different product, which you didn't want and refund only the difference in price.
Except it's worse than that: if you're a regular Concorde flyer when the novelty value is insignificant, I expect a normal trip in F is much more enjoyable that sitting on the ground for four hours and then getting there in three hours in relatively cramped surroundings.
