Looks like you can do all in for $117 in only 2 days 13 hours with only one transfer, in Chicago (but like 32 stops). Please be sure to write a trip report for us when you are done.
Still you have to factor in the meals, and I believe Greyhound only make meal / break / cigarette stop in certain places, it does not always have McD where you can choose from the dollar menus. So meal for 2 days may end up close to $200.
