Seriously, Alaska Airlines doesn't do a pre-departure service? I'm so used to it, I try to board early even when I don't need to, just for that reason.
I was at the GOLD MVP lunch in the OC last year when this hot little topic came up. One of the women in attendance was the senior most FA for AS. Her comment was that due to new security procedures, there was not time to due a full pre-departure beverage service.

My question abck to her was how come CO can do FULL pre-departure beverage service and they only pre-board F with 30 minutes while most AS flights have a 40 minute of pre-departure window???

Never really got a good answer )-:

Simple answer, ask for whatever you want to drink once you board. AS FA's will be happy to get it for you...
