First time poster to apologies if this is the wrong place to ask or if it's been asked lots before but basically I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me how much it would cost to upgrade to first from business?

A bit of background, my girlfriend and I are getting married in September and are heading off on honeymoon to Bali flying Thai, as it's our honeymoon we've booked business class return flights but I'm thinking as a suprise it might be nice to upgrade either the outward journey to Bangkok or the return journey to London (don't think they do first Bangkok to Bali but happy to be corrected)

Also do you think it would be better to join the Thai frequent flyer scheme or use the Krisflyer membership that I already have but which I've not used for ages so have hardly any miles on?
