Seems like this should be a FAQ (that is, if this forum had a FAQ sticky).

The "new" Delta deal has me potentially considering accumulating SkyPesos for some upcoming rentals versus the #1 Gold Award points. Right now my decision is a bit of a toss up -- SkyPesos are notoriously hard & costly to redeem while it takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r to accumulate a useful number of #1 Gold Award points unless one frequently does high cost rentals with a points bonus PC number attached (and no $-off coupons/PC codes to boot).

Anyways... here's the question that frequent renters might know the answer to: if Hertz.com is working and you can log into it, you'll see a "Rental YTD" number on the left side of the page. If the renter decides to accumulate FF miles instead of award points, will the Rental YTD number still increment? (assuming one is still renting using their #1 Gold number)

Bonus question: does the Rental YTD increment when renting in non-#1 Awards Points countries?
