I just booked Virgin instead of jetstar due to the lack of QF benefits (plus DJ had a better arrival time). So it is a matter of choice, and QF has done a fine job of making DJ competitive Price was 10% lower too but I would have happily flown JQ if it was Oneworld -- so there is a definite cost to that decision!
