The food in the hotel is unsurprisingly very overpriced and quite crap. The landside areas of the airport are similarly devoid of decent eating options.
Never found the hotel food "crap" - average yes, but perfectly edible. Would agree that hotel food is always overpriced - something to do with having a captive market, I suppose. I had quite forgotten the lack of any shops/cafe options in the landside part of the airport, but that's pretty standard at all US airports.
We've been pretty fortunate as, thanks to Mrs Bealines CO ID card, we get access to "Gordon's Galley".
