The problem is that the T4 SkyClub is not owned by Delta. As you say, it is awesome. I love the samosas that are sometimes available as well as the wonderful variety of snacks. If Delta adds their own Sky Club at T4, you can pretty much kiss good-bye to the Oasis. That would be an absolute negative.
Is DL taking ALL of T-4? If not, then there would be a reason for Oasis to stick around. If not, then that's pretty sad as it is one of my favorite lounges in North America. Interestingly, I wonder what will happen to Virgin's lounge and El Al's lounge, both of which were built specifically for them. I also enjoy The Lounge as well, but again, it probably wouldnt remain if only DL sticks around. Will the other SkyTeam carriers locate to T-4? AF? KE? etc....they have their own lounges at JFK so I wonder what would happen to those investments.
