And when I say there is no way for TSO's to get the images there actually is a way but we would have to take the machine apart as there are no external outputs.
Emphasis mine.

I don't think we've given this post the attention it deserves.

You're saying there's NO WAY for screeners to save the image, except for ONE WAY, using a cell phone. (And, oh yeah, ANOTHER way, using a password and a USB port, which Flies has already addressed.) So I count TWO ways, which is more than "no" way.

So, cell phones aren't allowed. Many of us have asked how the TSA will prevent screeners from taking cell phones and other camera devices into the booth. You seem to be saying that screeners have been caught with cameras in the booth. So it's not a matter of prevention, it's a matter of trying to catch someone once they've done it. I thought TSA's philosophy (in everything else) was to prevent problems rather than waiting for them to happen.

If it's true that people have been fired for getting caught with cellphones in the booth, that would seem to a surprising and refreshing change from the usual TSA slap on the wrist. How many people have been fired for this offense, and had any of them used the camera in the peek-show booth?

The bigger question, of course, which no one can answer is: how many screeners are taking cameras into the peekshow booth without getting caught? What's to keep a supervisor from looking the other way in exchange for getting a copy of the pictures?
