Starting with a bad experience
Just did my first Hilton reservation.
I should learn the read the small print apparently.

I made the booking through Expedia as I often do. I checked to see that the price was equal (expedia and the Hilton site).

So I paid exact the same, I'm just missing out on the points now.

Must say this is a strange policy. For as far as I know Intercontinental and Marriott give you the points all the time as long as the reservation is on your name.
