Only 1 connection on the way back and that's on the way back. I recommend if you're going to BCN to stop by Palma Mallorca for the day.

Arrive: 8:35 am next day Barcelona, Spain (BCN)

Wed, Oct 6 Depart: 9:00 pm Palma Mallorca, Spain (PMI) Air Berlin 9475
Arrive: 11:55 pm Copenhagen, Denmark (CPH)
Sun, Oct 10 Depart: 8:35 am Copenhagen, Denmark (CPH) SAS Scandinavian Airlines 539
1 stop
Arrive: 2:00 pm Philadelphia, PA (PHL) US Airways 735
Each to their own tastes, but I think this is mad. If you've only got 2 days in Spain why Mallorca?? Valencia's down the road from Barcelona. Or even better Granada - one of the most magnificent sites in Europe (but in 2 days you'll spend most of your time travelling - BCN on its own may make more sense). If you are going to Palma, why not stay on the Costas on the mainland.
Unless you have specific personal reasons (eg family) the balance of this trip is wrong. You can do Copenhagen in a day. Okay, longer, if you want to do Elsinore etc. But Spain v CPH? No contest....
