Thanks for the feedback. It's been a LONG time since I had status with an airline, and that was America West. I must say that today I called about getting upgraded, and while it doesn't look like that will happen this time, the woman on the phone was exceptionally helpful, and hooked me up for seats with single digit row numbers. I can count on 1 hand the number of times I wasn't in a row starting with a 2 (or higher) on my way to MVP.

You are right about getting through the lines faster (although at Seatac, the signs say MVP Gold only if I recall correctly, not MVP). And boarding early will be nice, along with the bonus miles. I guess I got spoiled by my platinum status where all I had to do was book a flight and I was pretty much guaranteed a seat in F without doing anything.

Anyway, maybe I'll see you guys out there!
