Bonus miles up to 10,000 total or 10,000 per month? (mine was 10,000 per month).

When I questioned Chase they said it was per calendar month, and so my challenge right now is to spend $4,000 between August 1st and 8th (the cut-off date for my promotion). If yours is the same then you've got a job on your hands from October 1st to 3rd!
