If I could afford the US $3,900/night Ocean Front bungalow, the Manua Lani Bay looks like an absolute paradise vacation. Unfortunately, they also exceed our needs with two master bedrooms... a shame they don't offer the same luxuries in a couples oriented space. These seem driven to family or group stays.

I'm considering a Deluxe Ocean Front Room in the actual hotel though, even if the property is a little club-resort for my liking. I really do prefer intimate island hideaways on the luxury end to these type of hotels. But I really like the open air feel and ocean side balconies. I guess I would just have to be very clear in requesting one of the newly renovated deluxe rooms... I'm not sure, the TA reviews are pretty mixed.

Can anyone comment on the rooms, dining, pool and beachfront, etc?
