The Old Vic has some of the most uncomfortable seats in London, in my experience.
Best to see only short plays there!
Add to that the Royal Circle level and above at the Comedy Theatre. Monarch has more leg room!! Also some of the upper levels of ENO can, where it curves in, be a bit tight.
But I was surprised recenltly at the recently renovated Trafalgar Studios 1 & 2 (forgotten it's previous name, but it's been cut into two smaller theatres now) where bench seats with no arm rests mean it's a bit squeezy. Had the dreaded "stuck next to large man" syndrome when attending Wolfboy a few weeks ago.
