I am not totally familiar with the other chains but some offer free internet as your Platinum amenity.

The problem is that the daily cost of internet in Europe is rediculous at typically north of E20 per day. THAT is insane.

I too hope Marriot kicks, screams and gets onboard !!!

Marriott has been good about offering packages in Europe including internet, parking, and breakfast at rates that make sense, typically at about $20 per day above their lowest rate. I recently was able to get that in Czech Republic.

The unfortunate thing is the expansion of CY in Europe is not putting in decent bedding. They are more like cement slabs. I would like to know who thought straying from the Marriott standard bedding was a good idea? @:-)

Since I am planning to take a job in Germany at the first of the year and hope to enjoy my weekends traveling Europe and having my car I hope that these inclusive rates continues.
