Preboarding Absurdium
This Sunday and Tuesday, I was on 4 various flights. OAK/SEA/HNL/SEA/OAK. I have never seen anything like it. Each one had an unacceptable degree of preboarding abuse, and the gate agents did absolutely nothing to discourage it. There must have been nearly 30 preboards on SEA/HNL, and probably twenty-plus on the return. The SEA/OAK segments were somewhat better but still not like anything I've experienced. From the adult male with a "I am depressed without my little rat "service" dog who needed to preboard, to parents dragging kids that were way too old. Please, AS, send these people away. The gate areas were ridiculous, and the F/MVPG lines just stood still in time.
