No - you can't collect your bags because as you say - the transfer is airside - and there is no way to screen your suitcases!

If I have read the table correctly, it looks like bags might be able to be through checked from QF domestic to JQ international - see here: http://www.jetstar.com/au/en/popup/f...nnections.aspx
