Personally I would recommend the JW if you don't mind the drive into town. The rooms are on par with the high end strip casinos and most JW resorts worldwide (nice pool area too).
Given the state of the economy and rather low room rates, I think most of the better strip casinos, i.e. Mirage, Venetian, Bellagio, Wynn, etc. provide far better value for money, better service and nicer rooms than the Marriott properties near the strip. But if you hate casinos then you are stuck with mostly inferior properties if you need to be close to CC. I definitely wouldn't bother with the airport properties, the rates are kind of high by comparison for pretty basic rooms.
