2. Shouldn't be.
Technically it's supposed to be an en route stopover, so since CDG isn't exactly a hub, it could be an issue. But realistically, I think you'll be fine.
3. Should be the same price -- you're allowed a free stopover and an open jaw.
4. Yes. Plus CO also has VS as a partner, so you can use that TATL if you find space there.
