F is F and will always be > C, period. With all factors considered, there is not a single airline out there where a business class product will be better than first, not even Singapore's new J. Anything otherwise said is based on biased opinions.
With that said, CX J's meal is beyond laughable. Are you kidding me? Better than UA F? LOL. Actually, UA J meal blows CX J's meal away. And that's pretty sad.
CX F, however, is far superior than UA F.
It's not often I disagree with you
BlissWorld but I'd take CX J over UA F any day of the week. Let's not forget that the food in UA F is the same as J but with an additional choice of entree, or at least it was when I last flew the Friendly Skies up front.
Unless UA has drastically revamped the catering in F I would say that CX's Y food is better than anything served on-board UA. I remember attempting to eat a Duck dish on UA F that I could have used as an offensive weapon it was so tough and tasteless.
UA does do a lot of things right in the premium cabins but the food is most definitely not one of them.
