Aeroparque AEP reopened 1 December 2010 (updated title)

**UPDATE 12 Oct** The airport is now scheduled to close from 3 November through 1 December inclusive according to LAN's website - link here

According to today's La Nacion newspaper, Aeroparque will be closing for 50 days from 15 October to allow for the runway to be extended and other works. All commercial flights will be diverted to arrive/depart from Ezeiza.

Looks like another example of lack of joined-up thinking! Why didn't they do these works before moving a load of flights from EZE to AEP earlier this year?! And as sure as night follows day, there will almost certainly be an over-run on the works meaning AEP could potentially still be closed when the busy summer season starts!
