I was 15 years old, and remember it well. I was very interested in aviation and airplanes at an early age, and would start flying lessons 6 weeks later.

8 1/2 years later, I was a new hire pilot for a regional airline that shall remain nameless, and this accident was covered widely in our windshear training. The lesson stuck with me. Prayers to all affected.
