Here is my question:
I'm Platinum now.
In few weeks I will be flying on a very cheap coach ticket from Tampa to Madrid. Here is the itinerary:
TPA-DFW-Plane change from 757 to 767 in MIA-MAD
MAD-MIA-Plane change from 767 to 777 in MIA-DFW-TPA
The segments from DFW-MAD and MAD-DFW are same flight #.
Question #1 - Is the 777 a 2 class plane from MIA-DFW? If so, could I book a business seat flying on a web special coach ticket?
Question #2 - If I request a miles upgrade on the return, will I be sitting in 1st class suites on the 777 flight?(Never had the pleasure, so it's a good time to check it out)
Any other hints to get the most of the economy ticket on this itinerary?
