In my experience there is always a seafood option but if like me you don't eat meat or fish then you will need to order a special meal.

My experience with the VLML though on SQ in F and J is very poor which is typical of Asian carriers unfortunately. My big beef (pardon the pun) is the non supply of butter. If I order a VLML then I am obviously happy with dairy so why replace my butter with some crappy sunflower spread? Ok I get the butter when I ask but why should I have to? SQ should really understand what a dairy vegetarian meal is.

Still, can't be as bad as Asiana where I got the butter removed and replaced with sunflower spread and the FA gave me the rabbit food starter, only to then serve me Clam chowder which I didn't realise until I tasted it

(sorry rant over!)
