well i was slightly tempted when i first saw this on the exec club newsletter until i read the small print which says its only on world traveller redemptions <groan>

interesting the splash page says
Book between 2 August and 2 September to fly between 11 November and 31 March to take advantage of this great offer on rewards flights to Cancun.

but section 3 of the T&C's says:
A Qualifying Flight is a return reward flight, departing from an airport in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, US, LATAM or APA, via London Heathrow to Cancun in World Traveller cabin booked using BA Miles or part BA Miles and part cash and flown on BA mainline scheduled services with a BA prefix, but not on services operated wholly or partly by BA’s franchisees, codeshare partners or oneworld™ alliance members. Outbound and return travel must be completed between 12 March to 30 Sept 2010 inclusive. All travel must start and finish from an airport in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, US, LATAM or APA. Eligible Participants are responsible for the cost of travel between airports.

Obviously not aimed at FT'ers or anyone sane - and if i were US based, BA expect me to fly to fly to london in economy to fly all the way back in economy...
