Oh my poor child! I'm so sorry. You remind me of Americans who told me they came to London and all the food was awful - or who went sightseeing to Oxford, got a little confused and only saw the polytechnic. Can't you prevail on a friend or relative with taste and a little money (or just cooking ability) and get them to take you out to somewhere that knows how to do a proper breakfast?
