Forgive my ignorance but why was one tasty and the other yuck? Looking at the pictures they both look similarly disagreable.
The mushrooms are clearly vastly superior in the top pictures: the ones in the bottom look like they could have come out of a tin and look very sorry for themselves in any case. The bacon also looks like it stands a chance of being somewhat crisp, unlike the soggy rubbish in the bottom picture - although it's not certain. The rest isn't clear enough to tell.
But then again full English breakfasts are broadly about that...
Oh my poor child! I'm so sorry. You remind me of Americans who told me they came to London and all the food was awful - or who went sightseeing to Oxford, got a little confused and only saw the polytechnic. Can't you prevail on a friend or relative with taste and a little money (or just cooking ability) and get them to take you out to somewhere that knows how to do a proper breakfast?
