I took several domestic CA lights in China last year. The mileage all posted within 3-5 days to my UA account. So not sure what happened for you. In the past, my only problem in China was trying to credit China Southern (CZ) miles to my DL Skymile account. Maybe it is because a lower fare class. I personally always keep my boarding passes until the miles are posted. Good luck!
