They're all uncomfortable if you're over 6 foot tall. Ever notice how the upper portion (headrest) is forward of the main seat back. Kind of creates a concave effect where my shoulders lay up against the head rest and there's no mid to lower back support. These seat were probably a great design 40 years ago, but most people including men and women are taller today. At 6'2" I fell short sometimes.
Interesting that you said that. I'm about 5'4" and I've always thought the seats were designed for people taller than me (read: men.) The headrest hits me near the top of my head, pushing it forward. Ideally, it should hit right at the neck to provide support.
If I'm in front of an exit row or someone with very long legs, my neck and shoulders are screaming by the next day if I can't recline just an inch or 2.
I've always wondered if any of the other ladies (or short men) have that problem or if it's just me.
