Presupposes one has AC miles to book with. AC rules limit such mini-RtW awards to one stopover in each direction plus the destination city. So travel to Asia via Europe from NAmerica may be over either or both oceans, which in the latter case turns this into a mini-RtW. True RtWs can have up to six stopovers but must be in a continuous same direction with no backtracking (unless STAR routings require this due to lack of direct service between points).

Not clear that MP will book such routings irrespective of STARNet blocking.
