Overall I rate dynasty flyer B. I can only really compare with British Airways program though. I have noticed significant extra attention from crew in progressing from gold to emerald so status is obviously flagged on board. I have had gifts such as Taipei MRT cards. The biggest drawback is poor customer service at their UK office, and a rediculous (and as far as I know unique) policy on third party payments. Don't book for a partner or relative unless you are sure you will fly the same date. When my wifes schedule changed and we could not fly together, the result was a bureaucratic nightmare with London office where our loyalty was not recognised. Otherwise I find dynasty flyer very rewarding.
