Why do you say this? UA policy has always been the mileage credit is based only on the operating carrier.

Recently UA added an exception for CA and TK (Turkish) restricting to *A marketed flights only. (E.g., see the bottom of the TK earning page: http://www.united.com/page/article/0,6722,52611,00.html)

I'm not aware of any other carriers that UA is restricting code share earnings on. Hopefully this rule does not spread.

If you review the earning page for the carrier you are flying you can see what restrictions apply.
