Just came back from 7 days at Le Bristol (Terrace Suite).

Perhaps the best housekeeping staff I've ever encountered: They were polite, timely, quick and truly on top of their game.

Bristol's concierge staff was most helpful to me for various small eatery recommendations. Sure, I did the typical Tour D'Argent/Jules Verne shtick, but also wanted to experience cozier neighborhood spots. Everywhere they sent me was impeccable and they couldn't have been more friendly.

Great doormen/bell staff.

Their gym is small, but well-equipped. The pool is an afterthought. Three people are swimming and suddenly it feels cramped.

The level of service at Le Bristol was far above that of a FS or RC, verging on the immediate personalized know-how of the Peninsula HK or MO LV. I felt well taken care of without being trampled on. It all felt incredibly effortless, which is exactly what I'm looking for in this kind of hotel. There's nothing worse than a staff who's working hard and showing you every bead of sweat coming off of their brow.
