Was upgraded to a corner suite equipped with DVD player. The setup included a Bose dock to listen to the radio or DVD, though the audio connections were a complete mess if you wanted to listen to your iPod or the TV on the Bose system. The standard setup allows you to listen to your iPod on the TV instead of the Bose stereo!

After taking a close look, I made the following rig:
1. Connected my iPod to the auxiliary (iPod) dock (using my own male to male 3.5mm audio cable, headphone jack size)
2. The auxiliary (iPod) dock was already connected to the TV, so just selected the appropriate input on the TV for the aux dock
3. Had "Engineering" bring an optical cable to connect the TV to the Bose dock
4. Navigated the audio menu on the TV to turn on the optical output
5. Enjoyed my iPod over the Bose sound system!

In the end it sounded great, but the IT staff was thoroughly confused by my rig and they applauded the effort when it finally worked. It was not too complicated, but definitely more connections than should be necessary.

So, it can be done though you will need to take a close look and probably request some additional cables.
