My wife and I stayed at the Park Hyatt Shanghai 1 month ago and were upgraded bigtime!
We were booked for six nights with a confirmed Diamond Suite Upgrade. The rate was 3200 Yuan per night (about $450 per night US). Our reserved room category was a Park Suite King. Not bad by itself considering the Park Suite was going for $1330 at the time.

So when we arrive at the Front Desk, I'm informed that I've been upgraded to Their "Diplomat Suite". Let me tell you this suite was over the top! I looked up the rate online and it was $3400 per night!
Considering I was paying $450 per night for a $3400 per night suite we felt a little guilty having the full breakfast for two every morning, but what the heck it's a Diamond Amenity so we went with it!
