Actually go and check the CO website again. There is no difference between the UA earnings page and all the *A partners. They all state that earnings in the table are for flights operated by the given partner (or their associated airlines such as UAX), and every page has this at the bottom:
"Please note that mileage credit for travel on codeshare flights, including Elite Qualification Miles and Elite Qualification Points, is determined by the operating carriers booking classes of service."
I don't see how you're reading that the UA page is somehow different than the others.
