Prices & Shopping: Norway vs Sweden?
I know this is for Travel Tech only but its the only Real Shopping intensive Sub Forum where I can get some general idea.
I just picked the given item as a sample comparative.
Please also comment on the taxes % that would add on to the prices here.
I was going to be visiting a few places in Europe sometime in near future. I was just browsing online to see price variations for similar items in different places.
I just saw these and was a little confused. Is my maths wrong or is this for real?
Does this apply here only or in general for shopping any gadgets / electronics.
(Europe has some cool looking Gadget Gizmos - Especially when I last saw a bunch in Amsterdam)
Ikea Norway - 3400 - 428 Euro
http://www.ikea.com/no/no/catalog/products/90088946
Ikea Netherlands - 499 Euro
http://www.ikea.com/nl/nl/catalog/products/90088946
Sweden - 4600 kr - 487 Euro

And I thought given Ikea was swedish they would have the cheapest Ikea.. or is it that Norway has some kind of cuts?
Thoughts?
